The Partner Chapter Program, created by the Greater Kansas City Chapter and adopted by PTPI International, pairs the Greater Kansas City Chapter of People To People with People to People chapters from other countries. The program encourages the development of strong personal relationships between the members of participating chapters through the regular exchange of ideas on chapter governance, communication with members, chapter growth and other worthwhile projects. The program also encourages visits of delegations from one chapter to the other, providing members the opportunity to engage in "Citizen Diplomacy", to learn about other people and cultures, and to have fun while pursuing the Chapter's goal of "Peace through Understanding".
